Rain, Snow or Shine

Rain, snow or shine we go running

Wednesday night was the worst. We were in South Jordan visiting Chris's family and went running up there. It was SO windy! And it started snowing. The last bit of our run we couldn't see anything - the snow and wind combo was awful!...we're talking my face and throat were frozen and Chris had snow frozen into his hair. But despite the weather it felt great to run. We've done pretty good sticking to our training schedule. Chris is the best for coming along even if he thinks I am crazy.

Collin's Headstone and Valentines Day

Collin's Headstone:
Here's a picture of Collin's headstone.
I think it is perfect! The picture to the left is our hands with his. I love it. I miss him so much. I remember holding his tiny little hand. I really miss that..
His headstone is really close to Grandpa Shetlon's and not right over the spot where he was burried, so Chris called and they are going to move it. We want everything to be perfect.
Valentines Day:
Valentine's this year was perfect! I have such an amazing husband! He bought me these beautiful roses. I love the white and pink! And also gave me coupons for back massages : ) He knew exactly what I wanted and I didn't even have to tell him. We went out for sushi at Happy Sumo. YUM! Sushi is both of our favorite foods and last night it was reaffirmed that yes it is indeed the most delicious food ever! We have a tradition of getting sushi every year for Valentines Day. I loved every single bite! After sushi we went to see Unstoppable. Such a great movie. One that I would definitely recommend.
I love you babe! Thank you for being my Valentine

I figured it was time for an update.
We've been busy
mostly with work and with training for our marathon
and a little basketball

I put together a running schedule. It's hanging on our fridge and I love the feeling of crossing out each box after our runs. We get one rest day each week (other than Sunday of course) I love that Chris is my training buddy. Thanks babe! On Saturday we ran up and down Provo Canyon (twice, because it was cut short by the snow packed trail). I love running on trails - it's 10x better than running on the streets and 100x better than the treadmill.

Chris and I both play church ball. Chris has played every year we've been married and so I figured I give it a try with the relief soceity bball this year. And I love it. My mom and sister play too. I played in China and loved it there but haven't really played since...so I'm quite a bit rusty but it is still so fun! It's also fun to watch Chris play.
And it's fun to watch BYU play...
especially when they beat SDSU!
Oh and one more thing. Collin's headstone got put in today! YAY! I'm so excited to see it! I hope that it's perfect. I love my baby boy
