Washington D.C

In the beginning of May, Chris and I took a trip to Washington D.C with Chris's family. We had such an incredible time - it was great to spend time with Chris's family before we make our move in August. We are so thankful to Chris's parents for taking us on the trip!!
Now for the pictures: first let me say I took SO many pictures! I definitely struggled picking the ones to post - and I may have got a little carried away : )

This is at Mt. Vernon - George Washington's home
The visitor center at Mt. Vernon. I just love Chris and Noah - they fit right in don't you think?

The Capital Building
The International Spy Museum

And the Air and Space Museum.

China Town! We ate at this super yummy restaurant Wok n Roll - it is in the exact location where Lincoln's assassination was planned, crazy huh. After our lovely dinner, as we were standing outside the door a rush of cop cars came and parked literally right next to us. They rushed into the liquor store next door - it was intense! And a little scary. And this picture does not do it justice

One day we rented bikes and rode them all around the Washington Mall (where all the monuments are). I love bike riding - and the monuments were of course amazing.

Sunday after church we walked around the temple. The Washington D.C temple is seriously so beautiful. I was in awe!

Oh and we also went to the Zoo - again so fun. I love this picture of the elephant so I had to include it.
Overall, we had a wonderful time. Thank you Chris's family for such a fun trip! We love you!
