It's about time I did an update! Ethan is now 4 1/2 months and the cutest little guy ever! He is more alert and interactive and we love every second of it. We just got back from visiting our families in Utah (pictures at the bottom). While we were there Ethan experienced many firsts.
His first flight - he did awesome by the way. We received tons of compliments about our 'great baby'
His first boat ride - not his favorite, but who can blame the guy his face was squashed by the life jacket
His first solid food - artichoke dip and bread compliments of my dad. And then later oatmeal cereal...which he wasn't too fond of.
His first football to the face - compliments of Uncle Devin. To Devin's credit it truly was an accident and it hit my face more than anything - after we both cried, yes I cried, I was worried about Mr. Ethan, he was totally fine and happy as can be. Devin says he's getting him ready for football. I say wait a couple of years.
His first time rolling over - first and only time to be more specific. He rolled from his back to his stomach at Chris's parents house. I was so proud! He started trying to roll so I busted out the camera and after a couple of minutes with no succes I put the camera away and ...he rolled. He has come so close a couple different times since and I know it won't be long before he is rolling all over the place.
His frist time visiting Collin's grave. We love and miss Collin. I tell Ethan about him all the time.
Unfortunately Chris was only able to come for the weekend. Ethan and I had so much fun, although we were so happy to come home to Chris! We missed him! Our adventures in Utah included:
Hanging out with Chris's family. It was fun for Ethan to see his cousins, Logan and Noah
Farnsworth family reunion - horse back rides, volleyball, foot races, delicious food, and of course visiting with cousins
Visits with friends. Jessa, Kristi, Ciera, my old coworkers JeriAnn and E'Lyse, and then Ben, Gwendolyn and Henry.
Devin's mission farewell, plus dropping him off at the MTC. He is going to be such an incredible missionary!
Bear Lake Cabin with my family - boating, games, Pickleville Playhouse and more boating
4th of July celebrations - tennis, hike to Stewart Falls, barbecue, fireworks.
We love our family!
